Fixed-scope project
We agree scope, deliverables and a price before I start. Best when the requirements are clear.
I design and build iOS and macOS apps, backends and command-line tools, and I review work that already exists. You talk to me, and I do the work.
Greenfield apps or new features, across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. I have shipped apps with widgets, HealthKit, CloudKit sync, subscriptions and watchOS companions.
APIs, authentication, webhooks and background jobs for your app, with Postgres on Supabase or another host you choose.
Fast, keyboard-driven tools, from small CLIs using Rust to full TUI apps with Ratatui. See Perch, Tickit, Feedo and Hazelnut for examples.
Getting a finished app through review and out the door: metadata, screenshots, in-app purchases, subscriptions with RevenueCat, crash reporting and analytics. I treat the store page as part of the product.
Adding summarisation, transcription, tagging or search to an app, using Apple's frameworks or a hosted model, whichever fits. I will tell you plainly what each option can and cannot do.
A fixed-length review of your codebase, architecture or release process, with a written list of what to fix first and why.
Prices exclude any costs for third-party services.
We agree scope, deliverables and a price before I start. Best when the requirements are clear.
I work by the day on whatever matters most. Best for exploratory work or short, flexible help.
A set number of days each month, for ongoing work. Best for products that need steady attention.
Fixed duration, written report.
A few lines on what you need is enough.
A short call to understand the problem and decide whether I am the right person. If I am not, I will say so.
Scope, timeline, how we work together and the price.
I share progress regularly, you see working software early, and we adjust as we learn.
Consulting enquiries are by email only. I work and hold calls in English or Portuguese, so write to me in whichever suits you.
